Sad failure John McCain is not very happy about the health care bill passing. In fact, he is really quite sad. He has a big frowny face, and, if it’s okay with everyone, he and his political party are going to sob in the corner for a few months, like American politicians do.
Here’s McCain’s promise to act like an adult, for the good of the country:
Democrats shouldn’t expect much cooperation from Republicans the rest of this year, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) warned Monday.
“There will be no cooperation for the rest of the year,” McCain said during an interview Monday on an Arizona radio affiliate. “They have poisoned the well in what they’ve done and how they’ve done it.”
The House bill passed last night without a single Republican vote. Republicans have previously promised to sink any attempts to pass Climate Change or financial regulation legislation. So this news totally alters the Democrats’ strategy, I’m sure.
